Bureau (SECB) will provide impartial and comprehensive
information to potential clients.

- Get advice from the Bureau on areas such as venues, tours
and hospitality options based on your requirements.

-Ask for recommendation for potential industry partners in
Singapore.

-Prepare a brief on event requirements, such as duration of
the event, number of expected participants, number of meeting
rooms, and exhibition space. This will serve as a starting point
for discussion. The MICE service providers will be able to guide
the client through the planning process.

-Find the right MICE providers in Singapore, such as the
destination management companies (DMC), the professional
conference organizers (PCO) and the professional exhibition
organizers (PEO) should you prefer holding the event without the
help of a local event organizer.

-Make sure that the providers are licensed.

-Pay attention to what services are included in the fees and
charges quoted and what are not in contracting service providers.

-Make agreements, including the one on how to tackle
contingencies and their cost implications, ahead of the event.
