Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. is counting on its infrastructure business unit as a new growth engine for the company. Telkom’s business-to-business arm is being encouraged to pursue revenue from companies outside the Telkom Group. According to data presented to the press, Telkom now divides the company’s business categories into five segments: business-to-consumer (Telkomsel), B2B Infra (Infranexia, Mitratel, NeutraDC, Telkomsat), B2B ICT (Telkomsigma, EBIS), international (Telin), and other businesses (Telkommetra, Finnet). During 2025, the B2B Infra business group was the second-largest contributor to the Telkom Group, with revenue of Rp 56.6 trillion, behind Telkomsel which recorded Rp 109.2 trillion. However, the majority of B2B Infra revenue came from internal rather than external sources, i.e., Rp 47.7 trillion, compared with external revenue from outside the Telkom Group of only Rp 8.9 trillion. Only external revenue can later be consolidated as TLKM revenue for the year 2025. Telkom President Director Dian Siswarini said that external revenue from the B2B Infra business represents a major growth opportunity for Telkom as the growth rate of Telkomsel revenue slows. She explained that mobile service penetration in Indonesia is already very high and evenly distributed. The potential for user growth remains significant in the fixed broadband or wired internet segment via the Indihome business. However, in this segment, fierce competition has pushed down revenue per user, limiting further revenue growth. “The spin-off of Infranexia is indeed aimed at generating new revenue. So this is what we are pushing,” she said on Wednesday (20 May 2026). By December 2025, Telkom had completed the spin-off of the company’s fibre-optic assets and business to a subsidiary named Infranexia. The entire process of transferring assets and business to Infranexia was targeted to be completed in Q3 2026. Telkom’s Director of Wholesale & International Service Budi Satria Dharma Purba revealed that the spin-off’s impact on Infranexia’s external revenue growth had already been evident at the start of 2026. Before the spin-off, he explained, the external revenue contribution to Telkom’s fibre-optic revenue was only 15 percent. In January 2025 after the spin-off, external growth for Infranexia had risen to above 15 percent. “We want to push external contribution to 25 percent as soon as we complete the first phase of the spin-off. Effective January, we will push to direct more toward external markets,” said Budi. Telkom Director of Strategic Business Development & Portfolio Seno Soemadji said that one of the main targets of the TLKM30 strategy is to increase Telkom’s B2B revenue contribution. “Currently, the revenue mix is 70% B2C. This is what we want to change. By 2030, our target is 55-45 or at least 60-40,” said Seno. Telkom reported revenue of Rp 146.74 trillion for the 2025 period, with net profit of Rp 17.8 trillion.
