TASPEN Shares Archiving Practices with IndonesiaRe
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – PT TASPEN (Persero) welcomed a delegation from PT Reasuransi Indonesia Utama (Persero) or IndonesiaRe for a benchmarking session on archiving practices. The event took place on Friday, 20th February 2026, at TASPEN’s headquarters.
This activity is part of a joint commitment to improve the quality of archive management and serves as a forum for discussion and mutual learning regarding the management of company documents, both digital and physical, as well as strengthening synergy between institutions in realizing an organised, secure, and sustainable archiving system.
The delegation was received by Rizky Bachrudin, Head of the Archiving Unit and Corporate Communication and Media Relations Department at TASPEN. From IndonesiaRe, the session was attended by Arthur Daniel PS, Head of the Corporate Secretary and Protocol Department, along with other relevant personnel.
The Corporate Secretary of TASPEN, Henra, stated that this benchmarking session serves as a platform for mutual learning and a means of sharing archiving practices that have been implemented in each company.
“In line with this benchmarking activity, TASPEN continues to be committed to strengthening its correspondence and archiving systems through the sharing of document management experiences,” said Henra in a statement on Thursday (26th February 2026).
During the benchmarking session, IndonesiaRe not only learned about the archiving practices implemented by TASPEN. Several aspects were the focus, including digital correspondence systems, digital-based archive management, physical archiving processes, and company document governance.
In addition, TASPEN shared its experience in managing archives within the TASPEN environment. Some of these include continuous coordination and guidance with the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI), the implementation of digital-based official correspondence systems, and the use of electronic signatures (TTE) on official documents to improve efficiency, security, and the validity of company documents.
TASPEN continues to transform its archiving system, including through the innovation of merging service and financial archives to improve operational efficiency. This is supported by the orderly management of the archive lifecycle. Since 2021, TASPEN has destroyed 1,036,103 archives with retention periods of both less than and more than 10 years, in accordance with national archiving principles.
This benchmarking activity complements a similar visit previously conducted by Bank Kalsel in early 2026, as an indicator of the consistency of the quality of archiving practices implemented by TASPEN.
In addition to orderly administration, TASPEN also contributes to the preservation of the nation’s collective memory by submitting permanent (static) archives to the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) in 2022.
Now, TASPEN’s archiving transformation is entering a new phase through the 2025-2029 archiving roadmap to realise a modern and excellent archiving system.
This effort to strengthen archive management is in line with the government’s agenda to encourage a professional, transparent, and accountable bureaucracy, as outlined in the Asta Cita of President Prabowo Subianto.
Through orderly and integrated archive management and correspondence systems, TASPEN supports the realisation of a modern and adaptive company governance in the face of digital transformation.
