SIG spends Rp809 billion on local spare parts, evidence of TKDN support
To support the sustainable increase in TKDN, SIG actively develops spare parts components through Research and Development (R&D) activities.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Semen Indonesia/SIG (Persero) has recorded local spare parts spending of Rp809 billion in 2025, an increase of 2.79 percent compared to the previous year’s Rp787 billion, which serves as evidence of the company’s support for the Domestic Component Level (TKDN).
SIG Corporate Secretary Vita Mahreyni stated in Jakarta on Wednesday that the increased use of domestic products is not merely to meet regulations but is also part of the company’s strategic initiatives aligned with the SIG 2030 Sustainability Roadmap.
“To support the sustainable increase in TKDN, SIG actively develops spare parts components through Research and Development (R&D) activities with industry partners and SMEs to continuously enhance production capacity, technological innovation, and the competitiveness of domestic products,” said Vita Mahreyni.
This increase also surged 164.3 percent from the 2020 baseline of Rp306 billion, forming part of SIG’s strategy to strengthen the domestic supply chain and improve operational efficiency amid growing competitiveness in the building materials industry.
She added that the sustainable procurement implemented by the company is aimed at strengthening domestic suppliers while maintaining efficiency and competitiveness.
This approach is also part of the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance)-based transformation that drives the creation of sustainable economic value.
As Indonesia’s largest building materials producer, SIG integrates the use of domestic products from raw material procurement, spare parts, to supporting industry services.
This strategy is considered capable of strengthening business fundamentals through cost efficiency and optimisation of the supply chain based on local resources.
Throughout 2025, SIG’s total domestic product spending (PDN) realisation reached Rp21.79 trillion, equivalent to 93.47 percent of total goods and services spending of Rp23.32 trillion.
This achievement provides a tangible contribution from the company to supporting national economic growth amid global dynamics.
In addition, SIG continues to strengthen the competitiveness of local products through innovation, including the development of low-carbon cement that utilises domestic raw materials to improve energy efficiency while reducing emissions.
Vita Mahreyni emphasised that sustainability and efficiency are the main foundations of the company’s operations.
“We ensure that every business process is not only efficient but also provides real impact on strengthening the national industry and environmental sustainability,” she said.
