Polda Metro Jaya has emphasised its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the recruitment process for prospective Cadets at the Police Academy (Akpol) for the 2026 Fiscal Year. The public is urged not to be swayed by offers from middlemen promising selection processes outside official procedures.

The Head of Human Resources at Polda Metro Jaya, Senior Commissioner Muh Dwita Kumu Wardana, affirmed the readiness of Polda Metro Jaya’s ranks to oversee all selection stages objectively and professionally. He conveyed this during a briefing led by the Deputy Head of Human Resources of the National Police Chief, Inspector General Anwar, via Zoom Meeting on Monday (6/4/2026).

“We assure that the 2026 Akpol recruitment process will be conducted cleanly, transparently, accountably, and humanely. No fees will be charged, and there will be no room for middlemen or proxies,” said Senior Commissioner Dwita.

He also stressed that this year’s Akpol intake will only be open through one pathway, namely the regular route. Therefore, the public is asked not to be easily influenced by parties claiming they can help pass selection participants in exchange for certain payments.

“Success is entirely determined by the participants’ abilities in following all selection stages. We urge the public not to believe parties claiming they can ensure passage for participants, as the entire process is conducted objectively, transparently, and accountably,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Human Resources of the National Police Chief, Inspector General Anwar, in his briefing, emphasised that Akpol recruitment is not merely a selection process but part of a strategic effort to build a professional, integrity-driven, and trusted Indonesian National Police. All committees are instructed to implement the BETAH principles—Clean, Transparent, Accountable, and Humane—and ensure no room for middlemen practices or proxies.

The series of selections for the 2026 Akpol pathway will take place from 9-30 March 2026, including online registration and verification, followed by an integrity pact on 31 March and initial administrative checks (rikmin) from 31 March to 4 April. Subsequent stages include Health Check (rikkes) Phase I on 7-11 April, Psychological CAT on 23-25 April, then Academic CAT, Computer Test, PMK Inventory Filling CAT, and AMI CAT on 6-7 May and 9-11 May.

Participants will then undergo EKG Test on 17-19 May, Physical Fitness Test (UKJ) and Anthropometry on 21-24 May, followed by a hearing leading to Health Check Phase II on 4 June. Thereafter, the process continues with Health Check Phase II on 5-6 June, PMK and PSI Phase II on 13-15 June, final administrative checks on 16-17 June, up to the final hearing at the Polda level on 26 June 2026. For the Akpol pathway, selection continues at the National Police Headquarters level from 3 to 27 July 2026, making it the pathway with the longest and most comprehensive series of selections.
