More than 40 online lending companies (pinjol) or P2P lending fintech firms that received fines from the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) have filed objections with the Central Jakarta Commercial Court (PN Jakpus). The objections were filed last Thursday.

“The case registrations were carried out on Thursday, 9 April 2026, and continued until late at night due to the significant number of objecting applicants accompanied by substantial application files. All applications have met the administrative requirements as stipulated in Supreme Court Regulation No. 3 of 2021 on the Procedures for Filing and Examining Objections to KPPU Decisions in Commercial Courts,” said the spokesperson for the Central Jakarta District Court, Sunoto, in his statement on Friday (10/4/2026).

In KPPU Decision No. 05/KPPU-I/2025, the Commission Panel stated that Respondents I through XCVII were found to have violated Article 5 of Law No. 5 of 1999 on the Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition. The core allegation involves an agreement to fix prices (price fixing) for online lending service fees.

The objecting applicants include, among others: PT Esta Kapital Fintek, PT Kredit Pintar Indonesia, PT Teknologi Merlin Sejahtera, PT Pindar Berbagi Bersama, PT Ammana Fintek Syariah, PT Indosaku Digital Teknologi, PT Fintek Digital Indonesia, PT Lumbung Dana Indonesia, PT Ethis Fintek Indonesia.

Then there are PT Akseleran Keuangan Inklusif Indonesia, PT Berdayakan Usaha Indonesia, PT Digital Micro Indonesia, PT Amartha Mikro Fintek, PT Julo Teknologi Finansial, PT Mapan Global Reksa, PT Info Tekno Siaga, PT Indonesia Fintopia Technology, as well as other fintech companies.

Sunoto stated that the case examinations will be conducted in accordance with Supreme Court Regulation No. 3 of 2021, with resolution timelines as set forth in the applicable regulations. These objection cases will be tried by the chief judge panel Anton Rizal Setiawan with members M. Firman Akbar and Achmad Rasyid Purba.

“The Central Jakarta District Court is committed to conducting case examinations professionally, transparently, and accountably, for the sake of upholding legal certainty in the field of business competition,” he said.
