Banjar, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Central Board of the Indonesian Veterans’ Legion (LVRI) held training for JSN 45 socialisers for educational personnel in South Kalimantan to equip teachers with the technical skills to socialise national values in schools.

The training is designed not only to provide understanding but also practical skills so that participants can become socialisers in educational environments,” said Deputy General Chairman II of the LVRI Central Board, Retired Air Marshal TNI Wresni Wiro, after the opening of the JSN 45 Socialiser Training in Banjar, South Kalimantan, on Monday.

“The materials provided cover guidelines for passing on JSN 45, the history of the independence struggle, Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, as well as discussion techniques and practical socialisation,” he said.

In addition to theoretical learning, participants engaged in practical activities such as small and large group discussions and simulations of delivering material to students.

“Participants are equipped with the ability to explain and socialise the values of struggle effectively in schools,” Wresni stated.

During the training, assessments were conducted through pre-tests, post-tests, practical evaluations, and feedback to ensure cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes.

LVRI targets participants to become active socialisers capable of implementing the training materials sustainably in their respective educational units.

Staff Expert in Government, Law, and Politics of the South Kalimantan Provincial Secretariat, Adi Santoso, said the training strengthens the competence of educators in supporting character-based learning.

According to him, enhancing teachers’ capacity is an important part of addressing educational challenges, particularly in integrating national values into the teaching and learning process.

“The participants are educational personnel from upper secondary school principals, so it’s limited. The hope is that all the material presented can be continued for programmes to reinforce 1945 values among adolescents in South Kalimantan,” Adi Santoso said.
