JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Eid al-Fitr homecoming moment is often utilised by the public to return to their hometowns, including checking the condition of land or property assets they own. If obstacles are found, reporting can now be done more easily through the integrated complaint channel provided by the Ministry of Agraria and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN). One of them is the WhatsApp hotline via the number 0811-1068-0000. The Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Bureau, Shamy Ardian, explained that the available complaint channels allow the public to connect directly with the relevant technical units. “Currently, several complaint channels are available at the Ministry of ATR/BPN, one of which is the WhatsApp complaint hotline connected to the relevant technical units,” said Shamy, quoted from an official statement, Tuesday (24/03/2026). Through this hotline, the public can determine which work unit (Satker) will be the destination, such as the Land Office (Kantah) Satker, Regional Office (Kanwil) Satker, or the Central Ministry of ATR/BPN Satker. In the WhatsApp hotline service, the public can choose from 12 options to reach the appropriate technical unit. If they do not yet know the authorised unit, the reporter can select the central unit, which will then analyse and direct the report to the relevant party. In addition to WhatsApp, complaints can also be submitted via email at surat@atrbpn.go.id. Incoming complaints will be forwarded to the leadership of the technical unit for follow-up. The public can also utilise the SP4N-LAPOR! channel, which is integrated with various ministries and agencies, such as the Ombudsman and the Ministry of Home Affairs. In submitting reports, the public is asked to complete several requirements or legal standing, including the chronology of the incident, reasons for reporting, legal relationships between parties, reporter’s identity, and supporting document evidence. These provisions are also regulated in Ministerial Regulation of ATR/Head of BPN Number 4 of 2022 concerning Complaint Management in the ATR/BPN Environment. With the existence of this integrated complaint channel, the public who are on homecoming trips can still report land obstacles easily without having to delay until the holiday ends. “With the clarity of the service flow and certainty of legal standing, we strive not only to protect the public from land mafia and broker practices but also to ensure that administrative processes run faster and more efficiently,” he concluded.
