Jakarta — The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance has recorded a total of 6,691,081 annual income tax returns (SPT Tahunan PPh) filed through the DJP Coretax system.

“The progress of annual income tax return filing stands at 6,691,081 returns,” said Inge Diana Rismawanti, Director of Education, Services, and Public Relations at the DJP, in a written statement issued in Jakarta on Monday.

Of this total, 6,685,865 returns were filed through the DJP Coretax platform, whilst a further 5,216 returns were submitted through the Coretax Form.

Breaking down the submissions by taxpayer type for the January-December 2025 fiscal year, the DJP reported 5,947,665 individual employee taxpayers, 595,835 individual non-employee taxpayers, 141,055 corporate entities filing in Indonesian rupiah, and 116 corporate entities filing in US dollars.

For fiscal years commencing from 1 August 2025 onwards, figures stood at 1,173 corporate entities filing in Indonesian rupiah and 21 corporate entities filing in US dollars.

The DJP further reported that the number of taxpayers who have activated Coretax accounts has reached 15,616,605, comprising 14,594,724 individual taxpayers, 931,532 corporate entities, 90,124 government institution taxpayers, and 225 electronic commerce taxpayers.

To file annual returns, taxpayers can independently activate their Coretax accounts by following tutorials and instructions available through the DJP’s official social media accounts.

The DJP also provides the Coretax Form option for individual taxpayers with nil tax return status.

Taxpayers requiring further assistance can contact the Kring Pajak service line at 1500200 or visit their nearest tax office for staff assistance.

The DJP has urged taxpayers who have not yet filed their annual returns to activate their Coretax accounts and submit returns promptly. Late filers face administrative penalties of 100,000 Indonesian rupiah for individual taxpayers and 1 million Indonesian rupiah for corporate entities.
