        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of\nFinance has recorded a total of 6,691,081 annual income tax returns (SPT\nTahunan PPh) filed through the DJP Coretax system.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe progress of annual income tax return filing stands at 6,691,081\nreturns,\u201d said Inge Diana Rismawanti, Director of Education, Services,\nand Public Relations at the DJP, in a written statement issued in\nJakarta on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Of this total, 6,685,865 returns were filed through the DJP Coretax\nplatform, whilst a further 5,216 returns were submitted through the\nCoretax Form.<\/p>\n<p>Breaking down the submissions by taxpayer type for the\nJanuary-December 2025 fiscal year, the DJP reported 5,947,665 individual\nemployee taxpayers, 595,835 individual non-employee taxpayers, 141,055\ncorporate entities filing in Indonesian rupiah, and 116 corporate\nentities filing in US dollars.<\/p>\n<p>For fiscal years commencing from 1 August 2025 onwards, figures stood\nat 1,173 corporate entities filing in Indonesian rupiah and 21 corporate\nentities filing in US dollars.<\/p>\n<p>The DJP further reported that the number of taxpayers who have\nactivated Coretax accounts has reached 15,616,605, comprising 14,594,724\nindividual taxpayers, 931,532 corporate entities, 90,124 government\ninstitution taxpayers, and 225 electronic commerce taxpayers.<\/p>\n<p>To file annual returns, taxpayers can independently activate their\nCoretax accounts by following tutorials and instructions available\nthrough the DJP\u2019s official social media accounts.<\/p>\n<p>The DJP also provides the Coretax Form option for individual\ntaxpayers with nil tax return status.<\/p>\n<p>Taxpayers requiring further assistance can contact the Kring Pajak\nservice line at 1500200 or visit their nearest tax office for staff\nassistance.<\/p>\n<p>The DJP has urged taxpayers who have not yet filed their annual\nreturns to activate their Coretax accounts and submit returns promptly.\nLate filers face administrative penalties of 100,000 Indonesian rupiah\nfor individual taxpayers and 1 million Indonesian rupiah for corporate\nentities.<\/p>",
