Chinese Baijiu Producer Highlights Local Expertise Heritage and Openness Principles to Expand Global South Cooperation
Beijing - The Global South Financiers Forum 2026 presents new opportunities to expand cooperation. On this occasion, Wu Yuefei, Vice Chairman and General Manager of Chinese baijiu producer Fenjiu Group, stressed the importance of efforts to preserve local wisdom, the principle of openness, and collaboration for a shared future.
On 24 March, the baijiu producer held the “Qinghua Fenjiu Night” event, featuring products themed around blue-and-white porcelain. The event was attended by leaders of financial institutions, academics, and industry players from both domestic and international backgrounds.
During the event, Wu highlighted the importance of brand storytelling through beverage products as a meeting point of cultures. He noted that Fenjiu’s enduring popularity in the domestic market is inseparable from its commitment to quality, supported by time-tested traditional production techniques.
Wu also affirmed that, in both the industrial and financial sectors, long-term development grounded in product quality is the only way to face contemporary challenges.
As the main partner in the event, Fenjiu Group—with a long history in the Chinese baijiu industry—is a producer that consistently refines production techniques while maintaining premium quality standards.
According to Wu, baijiu with a smooth flavour is not merely a style, but also reflects an open, transparent, and inclusive mindset. This approach can encourage global partners to grow through broad cooperation.
Currently, Fenjiu Group continues to expand its steps through creative transformation and innovation in traditional Chinese beverage culture, while targeting a larger global market share.
As of the end of March, Fenjiu products have been exported to more than 60 countries and regions through a marketing network covering five continents, as well as various major duty-free outlets worldwide.
In the atmosphere of Qinghua Fenjiu Night, a performance of traditional Chinese dance revived the traces of baijiu trade along the ancient Silk Road. Wu invited participants of the 2026 Global South Financiers Forum to explore mutually beneficial and sustainable cooperation.
The event, held on 25–26 March at the National Financial Information Center in Beijing, also featured a Fenjiu cocktail exhibition hall that received widespread appreciation from both domestic and international participants.
