BTN Expands Wealth Management Services, Targets Rp 4 Trillion in Profit by 2026
INFO TEMPO - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) is expanding its services into the wealth management segment through BTN Private and BTN Prioritas. This initiative coincides with the celebration of the Lunar New Year, which serves as an occasion to appreciate BTN Private and BTN Prioritas customers.
BTN has traditionally focused on providing home loan (KPR) financing, particularly subsidized KPR. Therefore, the development of this segment is expected to strengthen customer trust and loyalty as the primary foundation for the growth of the company’s wealth management services.
Wakil Direktur Utama BTN Oni Febriarto Rahardjo stated that BTN must be able to serve all customer needs. This transformation is supported by solid financial performance. Throughout 2025, BTN recorded a consolidated net profit of Rp 3.5 trillion, growing 16.4 percent year-on-year (YoY).
The company’s total consolidated assets reached Rp 500 trillion, specifically Rp 527.8 trillion, an increase of 12.4 percent YoY, supported by credit growth of 11.9 percent YoY to Rp 400.6 trillion.
“If we want to become a comprehensive bank, we must be able to offer products and services that are comparable to other banks. We will continue to develop these products and services, of course, with the best quality,” said Oni at the BTN Economic Outlook & Chinese New Year 2026 event at The Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place, Jakarta, on Monday, February 23, 2026.
This achievement serves as important capital for entering 2026, which is known as the Year of the Fire Horse. Oni explained that the philosophy of the horse as a hard worker and fire as a symbol of burning spirit aligns with the direction of BTN’s transformation.
“In the future, we will further improve this. In the 2026 business plan, we are targeting a profit of Rp 4 trillion. We want to optimize this momentum for sustainable growth and profit,” said Oni.
Macroeconomically, Indonesia’s economic growth, which is in the range of 5.2–5.6 percent, is seen as an opportunity. As a developing country, Indonesia still has a lot of potential for new business. Therefore, the growth momentum must be utilized appropriately.
Oni emphasized the importance of the concept of investment with purpose. Investment should not simply involve placing funds without planning. “It’s not just about having money and putting it in deposits or other instruments. We must know which sectors are prospective and profitable,” he said.
According to him, wealth management is not just about numbers, but also about long-term vision and intergenerational sustainability. Therefore, BTN is committed to providing comprehensive investment solutions, personalized guidance, and exclusive services with principles of prudence and professionalism.
Oni also appreciated the strategic partners, ranging from investment managers, insurance companies, securities firms, to other partners. This collaboration allows BTN to offer the best products and solutions for customers.
With the theme “The Fire Horse Economy: Investing with Purpose, Building Legacy,” BTN wants to emphasize the importance of purpose-driven investment, disciplined risk management, and measurable portfolio diversification. “We are not just a product provider, but a strategic partner that accompanies customers on their financial journey,” said Oni.
In the future, BTN will strengthen its wealth management services through product innovation, improving the capabilities of its advisory team, and digitizing services without eliminating personal touch. BTN is also committed to maintaining customer trust with integrity and professionalism.
“With a strong performance foundation and a well-directed transformation strategy, BTN is optimistic that it can continue to grow and strengthen its position among the top five national banks,” said Oni.
Direktur Network and Retail Funding BTN Rully Setiawan said that strengthening wealth management services is an important part of BTN’s transformation towards Beyond Mortgage. In terms of customer segmentation, BTN divides its wealth management services into several tiers, namely Prospera with a balance starting from Rp300 million, Prioritas with a minimum fund of Rp500 million, and Private Banking with funds above Rp15 billion.
According to Rully, the trend of acquiring and upgrading customers shows positive performance. BTN’s Asset Under Management (AUM) has now reached around Rp20 trillion, growing more than 20 percent annually compared to last year.
“We maintain the acquisition of new customers with a tiered target. We upgrade from Prospera to Prioritas, and then upgrade Prioritas customers to Private Banking,” he explained.
The strengthening of wealth management services is in line with BTN’s strategic move to no longer focus solely on housing finance, but also to offer credit cards, automotive loans (KKB), Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), and various investment products. This strategy also strengthens BTN’s position as the leading consumer bank among the Himbara banks.
“We will fulfill all consumer and investment needs this year,” said Rully.
Rully is optimistic about 2026 with a strategy of building stronger relationships with customers, especially through lifestyle approaches and integrated financial services. One of them is through Bale by BTN, which is developed as an integrated transaction center, ranging from the purchase of mutual funds and shares, payments with QRIS and credit cards, BNPL features, to automotive financing facilities.
“With this ecosystem, BTN is targeting more solid and sustainable business growth,” said Rully. (*)
