BRI Records Subsidised Mortgage Disbursement Reaching Rp17.13 Trillion by March 2026
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has recorded subsidised mortgage (KPR) disbursements reaching Rp17.13 trillion as of March 2026. These loans have been channelled to more than 125,000 debtors.
BRI’s Director of Consumer Banking, Aris Hartanto, revealed that these disbursements will continue to grow as part of the bank’s commitment to providing decent housing access for low-income communities. BRI continues to strengthen its support for national housing programmes through subsidised KPR disbursements.
These disbursements, he said, expand home ownership access for low-income communities while encouraging growth in various business sectors developing around housing areas. “Subsidised KPR disbursements reflect BRI’s commitment to expanding housing access for the public,” Aris stated in his remarks on Tuesday, 14 April 2026.
He stated that BRI views housing financing as having an important role in improving welfare and driving economic activity in various regions. “Through this step, BRI seeks to deliver sustainable impacts for society and the economy,” Aris said.
In addition to opening home ownership access for the public, the company sees that housing estate development also provides broad economic impacts.
This activity drives growth in various supporting sectors, from construction, building materials industry, labour services, to logistics, as well as business opportunities for SMEs developing around housing areas.
Aris emphasised that BRI’s widespread network serves as a strategic foundation in expanding housing financing reach to various regions.
“Supported by a wide and integrated network, BRI will continue to optimise housing financing disbursements to reach more communities in various regions. This effort is aimed at expanding financing reach while ensuring more equitable access in various areas,” Aris concluded.
