BRI (BBRI) Distributes Rp52.1 Trillion in Dividends, the Highest in History
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) agreed at its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to distribute 92% of its 2025 fiscal year net profit, amounting to Rp52.10 trillion, as dividends. This amount is equivalent to Rp346 per share. The dividend distributed this year is the largest in BRI’s history, both in nominal terms and as a percentage of the company’s net profit. Previously, the dividend record for BRI was set in the 2024 fiscal year, where shareholders agreed to distribute Rp51.73 trillion, or the equivalent of 86% of the net profit for that fiscal year, as dividends. In total, for the 2024 fiscal year profit, BBRI distributed dividends totalling Rp343.4 per share, consisting of interim dividends of Rp135 per share and final dividends of Rp208.4 per share. For information, at the beginning of this year, BRI has distributed interim dividends for the 2025 fiscal year of Rp137 per share or a total of Rp20.63 trillion, which was paid on 15 January 2026. Thus, the remaining final dividend to be distributed by BRI is estimated at Rp209. For information, BRI’s net profit for the year was recorded at Rp57.13 trillion throughout 2025. This profit achievement declined by 5.26% year-on-year (yoy) from Rp60.30 trillion in 2024. Detailing the financial statements published in the mass media, BRI’s top-line performance improved. Interest income was recorded at Rp207.78 trillion, up 4.27% yoy. Interest expenses also rose slightly by 1.2% yoy to Rp57.28 trillion. Consequently, net interest income and insurance service income rose 5.54% yoy to Rp151.8 trillion throughout the previous year. In the intermediation function, BRI’s consolidated credit grew to Rp1,521.49 trillion, an increase of 12.31% yoy at the end of 2025. Meanwhile, BRI’s total assets were recorded at Rp2,135.37 trillion. In line with that, the gross non-performing loan (NPL) ratio increased to 3.29%, and the net NPL rose to 0.96%. Meanwhile, third-party funds were recorded at Rp1,466.84 trillion at the end of 2025. The CASA composition reached 70.61%. Then, liquidity also tightened, with the loan to deposit ratio (LDR) at 91.96%.
