BNC Ensures Operations Continue Unaffected by OJK Decision
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk or BNC (BBYB) has assured that the bank’s operational activities up to customer services continue to run smoothly and are unaffected by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) decision.
“All BNC digital banking services continue to operate normally, including Wealth Management product services, such as mutual funds, bancassurance, gold services, as well as other digital banking products and services,” said President Director of PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk, Eri Budiono, in a written statement in Jakarta on Friday.
The decision in question is contained in OJK Commissioner Council Decision No. KEP-3/PM.13/2026 regarding the Revocation of the Registered Certificate for Level I Institutional Securities Trading Intermediary Marketing Partner of PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk.
That decision relates to the revocation of permission for the bank to provide referrals to securities companies to customers who have an interest in conducting stock trading.
BNC explained that the referral programme was planned as a new product to develop Wealth Management services. However, the programme has not been launched because the bank is still refining operational readiness, systems, and customer experience before implementing the programme.
“In every operational activity and business decision-making, BNC ensures the implementation of measured risk management and compliance with all applicable provisions and regulations from relevant authorities,” said Eri.
To that end, BNC respects the OJK decision and will actively coordinate with relevant parties.
“Bank Neo Commerce fully respects every policy and regulatory direction implemented by the relevant regulator and will continue to maintain active coordination to ensure compliance with all applicable provisions,” explained Eri.
The bank states that it will continue to commit to providing safe, comprehensive, and competitive digital financial services for Indonesian society.
All current services can also be accessed fully without disruption.
“We emphasise that the security of customer transactions across all products and services in the Bank Neo Commerce neobank application, which is currently accessible to the public, has valid licensing and is supervised by regulators, both by OJK and Bank Indonesia,” stated Eri.
