Jakarta, VIVA – Managing the needs of tens of millions of customers with diverse activities and professions, which must be responded to appropriately, presents a unique challenge.
PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is addressing this challenge by introducing a number of innovations through digital services. To optimise services, mobile banking is maintained, while the myBCA platform continues to be developed with new features.
Senior Vice President Transaction Banking Product Development at BCA, Fera Agustina, said that one of the digital services provided to respond to the diverse needs of customers is myBCA.
This digital platform from BCA is regularly updated and enhanced with new features, adapting to the evolving needs of customers. “We continuously monitor customer transaction behaviour and try to address it with technological advancements,” she said on Thursday, 26 February 2026.
Most recently, the myBCA application was updated with the Poket Rupiah feature and the myBCA on Smartwatch service. These two features make it easier for customers to access BCA’s financial services from their smartwatches and manage various needs from a single account.
Currently, around 90,000 customers are using myBCA on Smartwatch.
MyBCA on Smartwatch is a product born from the evolution of people’s lifestyles. The increasing use of smartwatches has strengthened the need to easily access financial services.
Through myBCA on Smartwatch, customers no longer need to worry about making transactions if they forget or find it difficult to use their smartphones and debit/credit cards.
Customers can complete transactions such as payments using QRIS Pay, QRIS Tap (specifically for WearOS users), and check their balance directly from their smartwatches.
“The myBCA on Smartwatch application allows customers to make practical banking transactions through their smartwatches. We strive to meet the current needs of our customers,” said Fera.
Meanwhile, with the Poket Rupiah product, customers can use the sub-account feature to separate their balance into up to 20 different wallets in Rupiah directly from the application, without additional fees.
“This feature is not only popular with Gen Z, but also with housewives who manage the family’s budget. In addition, it is also useful for workers who need to separate their budget according to expenditure categories,” she explained.
