Handal Expanding To Indonesia
JAKARTA, May 24 (Bernama) -- With a track record of having delivered offshore pedestal cranes with zero defect and zero warranty call-outs, Handal Offshore Services Sdn Bhd (Handal), is now expanding its business to Indonesia. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Handal Resources Bhd, which recorded a post-tax profit of RM14.8 million in FY2009, an increase of 60 percent from the RM9.2 million recorded previously.

Indonesia finance minister promises reforms, swift start
JAKARTA, May 23 (Reuters) - Indonesian new finance minister has said he expects a swift start to the job and to continue reforms driven by his predecessor without fear of political pressure, Indonesian newspaper Rakyat Merdeka reported on Sunday. Agus Martowardojo, appointed last week, replaced reformist technocrat Sri Mulyani Indrawati, who leaves for a new job at the World Bank following a campaign to oust her by politicians opposed to her anti-graft reforms.
