Lippo Karawaci Enjoys Surge in Profit as Residential Sales Drive Strong Growth
Jakarta. Lippo Karawaci, the nation’s biggest property company, projected 35 percent growth in net profit this year to Rp 524 billion ($58.69 million), following a healthy financial performance in the third quarter, it said on Monday. The country’s improving economy has supported the company’s residential and township sales, lifting Lippo Karawaci’s third-quarter profit to Rp 127.7 billion, a 29 percent gain over the same period last year.

RI, Turkey to double bilateral trade by 2013: minister
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia and Turkey are to boost their bilateral trade and double its value in the next few years, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Hatta Rajasa said. The value of Indonesia-Turkey trade was now recorded at two billion US dollars per year but it will be increased to five billion US dollars by 2013, Hatta said here Monday.

Seaweed processing plant needed in Southeast Sulawesi
Kendari (ANTARA News) - Southeast Sulawesi`s provincial government is planning to build a seaweed processing plant, local maritime and fisheries office spokesman Abdul Salam said on Monday. "We are planning to build seaweed processing factory in a bid to step up regional revenue," Abdul Salam said. According to him, seaweed commodity in Southeast Sulawesi was in abundance and therefore many domestic and foreign investors had expressed their eagerness to invest.

Kendari`s maritime, fishery service managing Rp4.54 billion
Kendari, SE Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - The Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Service (DPK) of Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, is managing a budget for 2010 amounting to Rp4.54 billion, the local DKP head said. "This budget consisted of Rp2.3 billion from the special fund allocation (DAK), Rp717.3 million from the regional budget and Rp1.52 billion from the assistance fund," Head of Kendari`s DKP office Agusalim said here on Monday.
