Kendari, SE Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - The Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Service (DPK) of Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, is managing a budget for 2010 amounting to Rp4.54 billion, the local DKP head said.

"This budget consisted of Rp2.3 billion from the special fund allocation (DAK), Rp717.3 million from the regional budget and Rp1.52 billion from the assistance fund," Head of Kendari`s DKP office Agusalim said here on Monday.

He said that the funds would be used to finance 11 prioritized programs of the Kendari city, particularly programs in the development of maritime and fisheries.

"The 11 prioritized programs included four improvement programs, namely the improvement of apparatus infrastructure and facilities and of their human resources," the DKP head for Kendari said.
