Significant rise in tourist arrivals in Bali

Denpasar, Bali,(ANTARA News) - The number of foreign tourist arrivals in Bali rose significantly in the first semester of this year, a regional tourism official said. "According to records, a total of 280,222 foreigners visited Bali in the first semester of this year, an increase of 22.26 percent from 229,198 in the same period last year," the head of the local tourism service, Gede Nurjaya, said here on Saturday.

N Sulawesi fishery exports reach US$45.23 million

Manado, N Sulawesi, (ANTARA News) - North Sulawesi`s exports of fish and fish products reached a value of US$45.23 million in the first semester of this year, a local trade official said. "The income came from exports totaling 20,735.18 tons of various fish and fish products to various countries in the world," the head of the local foreign trade service, Hanny Wajong, said here on Saturday. "The exports included fingerlings," she said.
