Riau Islands economic zone to be realized soon: Yudhoyono

JAKARTA (JP): The government will speed up the realization of Exclusive Economic Zones in three islands -- Batam, Bintan and Karimun -- in the Riau Islands province, said provincial governor Ismeth Abdullah Tuesday. "In the meeting (with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono) yesterday (Monday), the president promised to speed up the development of the Exclusive Economic Zone," Ismeth was quoted as saying Tuesday.
