Zawiyah Arraudah Jakarta will hold a Khassah Istighosah and Iftar Bersama on Saturday, 7 March 2026, corresponding to 17 Ramadan 1447 AH, in Tebet, South Jakarta. The event will be a moment for joint prayers and a statement of Indonesia’s solidarity with the Muslim communities in Palestine, Iran and other regions undergoing humanitarian conflict.

The gathering, which is expected to be attended by hundreds of worshippers and religious figures, will include the reading of hizb Nashor and prayers led by senior figures, including KH. Muhammad Danial Nafis (Khadimu Thariqoh Shiddiqiyah Darqowiyah Syadziliyah & Rois JATMAN DKI Jakarta) and KH. Ahmad Marwazi Al Makki Al Batawi (Khadiem Syaikh Muhammad Yasin Bin Isa Al Fadani).

The 17 Ramadan date was chosen because Ramadan holds historical significance in Islamic tradition as the day of the Battle of Badr and the conquest of Mecca, symbolising steadfast faith and the solidarity of the Muslim ummah.

Chairman of the organising committee, H. Reza Milady, said the event represents the moral and humanitarian concern of the ahlū thariqah, and an invitation to the unity of the ummah (Ittihadul ummah) to respond to global situations through peaceful and constitutional means to assist and defend the Muslim communities in Palestine, Iran, Sudan and other parts of the Islamic world.

“We emphasise that the joint military actions by Israel and the United States, which have triggered bloodshed and retaliatory strikes and heated regional conflicts in the Gulf and the broader Middle East, reflect egoistic power politics and the most shameful crisis of conscience of this century,” he stated.

In its official statement, the solidarity stance with Palestine, Iran and the wider Muslim world aligns with the mandate of the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution (Pembukaan UUD 1945), which rejects colonialism and supports independence as a right of every nation.

In addition to istighosah, the public educational event is also open to the general public and will include an iftar as a symbol of unity and a strengthening of social solidarity during Ramadan.

The organisers hope that tensions in the Middle East region will soon subside to prevent further expansion of conflict and to save more lives.
