Yogie to attend PDI birthday

AMBON, Maluku: Minister of Home Affairs Moch. Yogie S.M. is
expected to attend a reception to mark the 23rd anniversary of
the Indonesian Democratic Party this Wednesday, a party official
said on Saturday.

The minister is slated to arrive in Ambon on Monday, John
Mailoa, chairman of the party's Maluku chapter and a member of
the anniversary organizing committee, told Antara.

The ceremony will be preceded on Tuesday by a seminar entitled
"The People's Sovereignty", featuring Gen. (ret.) Sumitro,
business consultant Christianto Wibisono and law expert J.E.
Sahetapy. (imn)
