- A Megalithic Site Found in the Illegal Dongi-Dongi Mining Area
A local resident of Dongi-Dongi village, Lore Utara sub-district, Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi, found a megalithic site within the illegal gold mining area in Lore Lindu National Park (TNLL).
‘Greetings to culture. I am now at the Dongi-Dongi mining area. This area is submerged. So I have found something very unique. There is a depiction of a human face on this rock. Just as in Napu,’ the resident said in a video received in Palu on Thursday.

The government has taken serious steps to address the issue of children’s mental health, marked by the signing of a Joint Decree on Child Mental Health by nine ministries and agencies in Jakarta on Thursday.
Minister for Coordinating Humam Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Pratikno explained the urgency of addressing youth mental health in Indonesia, noting several suicide cases by children in recent times and violence by children against parents.

Senior Chief Hariqo Wibawa Satria of the Government Communications Agency stated there is no tolerance for the Nutrition Service Units (SPPG) that raise prices or mark up raw materials for personal gain.
Hariqo explained that the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) as of 3 March 2026 has closed 49 SPPGs found to violate standard operating procedures to improve the quality of the Free Nutritious Meal Programme (MBG).

The Tangerang City Health Office (Dinkes) in Banten issued guidance for children showing measles symptoms to refrain from attending school to prevent wider transmission amid a rise in cases at the start of 2026.
‘Transmission of measles occurs not only via direct contact but also through the air from coughs and sneezes,’ said Tangerang Dinkes Chief Dini Anggraeni in Tangerang on Thursday.
- Baznas-TNI AL Collaborates to Provide Free Mudik via Warships
The National Zakat Agency (Baznas) of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) collaborated with the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) to offer a free mudik programme for the public using the Republic of Indonesia Warships (KRI) ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri.
‘Baznas is very pleased to be able to work again with the TNI AL to serve the people. We will immediately follow up with logistic support for mudik participants and Lebaran packages for TNI AL personnel involved in this programme,’ said Baznas RI Chair Noor Achmad in a statement from Jakarta on Thursday.
