Yesterday: Helicopter Crash in West Kalimantan to 900 Nutrition Service Units in 3T Areas for Free Nutritious Meals Programme
Jakarta (ANTARA) - A selection of news highlights from Friday (17/4) can be reviewed again, ranging from information on a helicopter crash in West Kalimantan to the operation of 900 Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units in 3T areas to support the Free Nutritious Meals Programme in remote regions.
1.) Eight passengers from fallen helicopter in West Kalimantan evacuated in deceased condition
Basarnas states that eight passengers, including the pilot of the Airbus H130 PK-CFX helicopter that crashed in the forest area of Sekadau Regency, West Kalimantan, were evacuated in a deceased condition.
“All deceased. Crew of two people and six passengers, making a total of eight persons on board (POB),” said Basarnas Preparedness Director Noer Isrodin when confirmed in Jakarta on Friday.
2.) Expert suspects mechanical factors as cause of helicopter crash in Sekadau
West Kalimantan air transport expert Syarif Usmulyani Alqadrie Ah,Pnb, S.E, SSiT, stated that mechanical factors or aircraft maintenance are suspected to be the cause of the Airbus H130 PK-CFX helicopter crash in the forest area of Sekadau Regency, West Kalimantan.
“From the five factors, weather can be ruled out because based on recordings and witness accounts at the incident site, the weather conditions when the helicopter fell were reported as clear with no rain or extreme weather disruptions,” said Syarif Usmulyani in Pontianak on Friday.
3.) Victims’ bodies from PK-CFX helicopter evacuated to Pontianak
Personnel from Battalion Command 466 Rapid Movement Troops (Yonko 466 Pasgat) along with Basarnas evacuated the bodies of the PK-CFX helicopter crash victims owned by Matthew Air Nusantara from Sekadau Regency to Supadio Airport, Pontianak, using a Caracal helicopter.
“So far, we have received information that all victims have been found. The evacuation process is still ongoing, including securing helicopter parts from the location in Sekadau Regency,” said Yonko 466 Pasgat Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Pas Adim Dwi Prasanda, in Pontianak on Friday.
4.) BGN: 900 3T area Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units to be operated to support remote area MBG
The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) will soon operationalise 900 Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) in Indonesia’s Underdeveloped, Frontier, and Outermost (3T) regions, as a government step to accelerate the Free Nutritious Meals Programme (MBG) in remote areas.
“Insya Allah, in the near future, the MBG Programme will already be in place in these 3T regions,” said BGN Deputy Head Sony Sanjaya at the MBG Programme Consolidation Meeting in Pangkalpinang on Friday.
5.) BGN: 65 per cent of Indonesians need MBG
Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Sony Sanjaya, stated that 65 per cent of Indonesians require the Free Nutritious Meals Programme (MBG), as it has successfully increased nutritional intake for beneficiaries and strengthened the economy in the areas.
“Alhamdulillah, based on the survey, 65 per cent of Indonesians need this MBG Programme,” said Sony Sanjaya at the MBG Programme Consolidation Meeting in Pangkalpinang on Friday.
