Workshop for cooperatives

JAKARTA (JP): At least 24 cooperative members, comprising
mostly of suppliers and potential suppliers of the Makro
wholesale company, ended a four-day workshop on entrepreneurship
in Bandung, West Java, yesterday.

The workshop was held by Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra, a social
foundation owned by the Astra Group in cooperation with the
Bandung branch of Makro and the West Java chapter of the National
Cooperatives Council.

Aminuddin, a spokesman for the Astra Group, said that the
workshop was one of the foundation's social programs aimed at
assisting small and medium-scale companies and cooperatives.
