Women touch down in Jakarta
JAKARTA (JP); Female touch rugby players from across Southeast Asia are in Jakarta for a two-day tournament starting today.
Teams from the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore will compete against three local sides in what is thought to be the largest competition of its kind to date in the region.
One of the Jakarta teams is from the Jakarta Touch Rugby Club and two are from Jakarta International School (JIS).
The tournament, at JIS in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, is part of a larger event featuring several sports including male rugby sevens. (jea)
