PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), through the PP-WIKA Consortium (KSO), has conducted the topping off ceremony for the Heart and Vascular Hospital (RSJPD) Harapan Kita - Tokushukai Building. This step signifies the completion of the main structural work on the building.

The ceremony was attended by the Indonesian Minister of Health and the Japanese Ambassador to Indonesia, reflecting the strong bilateral synergy in developing globally standard healthcare services. The construction of the new RSJPD Harapan Kita - Tokushukai Building is a collaboration between the Republic of Indonesia’s Ministry of Health and Tokushukai Medical Corporation, with the facility projected to become the largest cardiovascular services centre in Southeast Asia.

For context, the project consists of 20 storeys and is targeted for completion by the end of 2026. The presence of this building will further strengthen the overall service capacity of RSJPD, supported by cutting-edge medical technology to bolster the largest heart surgery capacity in the ASEAN region.

“This topping off achievement represents WIKA’s commitment to supporting the development of modern and internationally standard health infrastructure. We are optimistic that this project can be completed on time to provide maximum benefits to the public as soon as possible,” stated WIKA’s President Director, Agung Budi Waskito, in his official remarks on Wednesday (15/4/2026).

He added that the presence of the RSJPD Harapan Kita - Tokushukai Building is expected to increase capacity in handling cardiovascular diseases, including expanding public access to high-quality healthcare services without needing to seek treatment abroad.

Furthermore, this project aligns with the implementation of the Government’s Asta Cita, particularly in enhancing human resource quality through strengthened equitable and globally standard healthcare services. Through this project, WIKA continues to support national health infrastructure development that directly impacts the public.
