All passenger operations for passengers wishing to board the Whoosh feeder train at Bandung Station will be centralised on the western side of the station from March 2026 onwards.

The western side of Bandung Station is located in front of the Al Mu’min Mosque. To access this area, passengers can enter via the North Gate of Bandung Station from Jalan Kebon Kawung.

“We urge Whoosh passengers who will be using the feeder train from Bandung Station to begin adjusting their entry and exit to Bandung Station through the North Gate from Jalan Kebon Kawung,” stated Eva Chairunisa, General Manager Corporate Secretary at KCIC, in an official statement on Friday (27 February 2026).

The new feeder train waiting area on the western side of Bandung Station features a significantly larger space with more modern facilities. The waiting room has a capacity of more than 300 seats, an increase from approximately 200 seats in the previous feeder train waiting area on the eastern side.

“Once implemented, all waiting room activities, boarding, drop-off, and pick-up operations for the feeder train will be centralised in the new area,” said Eva.

Eva emphasised that this information is important for all passengers to understand to avoid delays when heading to the feeder train waiting area at the station.

Furthermore, KCIC, together with KAI, will install signage and directional markers at several strategic points throughout Bandung Station to facilitate passenger navigation to the western side. Additionally, extra staff will be stationed during the transition period, including personnel at the old waiting area to direct passengers to the new location.

As a result, she noted, the access relocation will proceed in an orderly manner whilst maintaining smooth passenger travel.

“The access arrangements are being made to create more orderly, safe, and efficient passenger movement, particularly during peak hours,” stated Eva.

With this centralisation of access, passenger flow becomes better organised and will enhance the comfort of integrating the feeder train with the Whoosh high-speed railway, given increasing passenger mobility.
