JAKARTA - Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf has asked his staff to work optimally on the first day of implementing the work-from-home (WFH) policy. “With this WFH, it is hoped that all ranks in the Ministry of Social Affairs will remain disciplined in filling out attendance and performance reports that are the daily tasks of every employee,” said Gus Ipul, Saifullah’s familiar nickname, in a press statement on Friday (10/4/2026). “The important thing is not to be negligent, on all fronts, and not to violate all the provisions that have been set. Of course, during WFH, no one should wander around, especially after wandering using official vehicles,” he stressed. He invited all employees to continue prioritising integrity, serving the public wholeheartedly, and avoiding corruption. “No corruption, and these days we are required to work more frugally even though the service must remain excellent, and remember no corruption. Once again, remember no corruption, including time corruption,” said Gus Ipul. “Hopefully, with this WFH, our digital productivity will increase, and our services to the public will also continue to improve,” he stated. Gus Ipul emphasised to all his subordinates in the Ministry of Social Affairs to obey all applicable rules and provisions. “I don’t want any more dismissals, I don’t want any delayed salaries, demoted ranks, or those receiving written warnings 1 or 2. I want everyone to work well, with no violations,” he said.
