West Lombok Regency Targets Regional Tax Revenue of Rp 262 Billion in 2026
The West Lombok Regency Government (Pemkab Lombok Barat) is targeting regional tax revenue of Rp 262 billion in 2026. This target represents an increase of Rp 50 billion compared to the previous year. “This is an increase of Rp 50 billion from the previous year,” stated the Head of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of West Lombok, Lalu Agha Farabi, on Tuesday (5/5/2026). Agha revealed that the realisation of regional tax revenue for the first quarter of 2026 has reached Rp 66.8 billion, or around 25.5% of the total target set. This achievement comes from the Tax on Specific Goods and Services (PBJT). According to him, tax revenue in West Lombok is expected to increase significantly from mid-year, particularly from June to July. “This is still the first quarter, not yet entering the high season or peak season,” he explained. Meanwhile, for Land and Building Tax (PBB), collections will begin in early May 2026, after the Tax Due Notification Letters (SPPT) have been printed. Agha emphasised that PBB rates in West Lombok this year will not increase, despite adjustments to the Taxable Object Sales Value (NJOP). “There is no increase in PBB, even though there is an NJOP adjustment. Why? Because we provide stimuli in line with the NJOP increase,” he clarified.
