Jakarta (ANTARA) - The West Jakarta Social Services Agency (Sudinsos) is hunting for a woman who has recently gone viral on social media for repeatedly failing to pay for meals, online motorcycle taxi (ojol) rides, and public minibus (angkot) fares.

Head of the West Jakarta Social Services Agency, Fajar Laksono, said he was exasperated and had received numerous reports regarding the woman’s behaviour.

His officers have been instructed to take to the field and track down the woman, who is suspected of being a Person Requiring Social Welfare Services (PPKS).

“Regarding the reports about this individual, we have already taken follow-up action since Wednesday, 21 January 2026, conducting periodic sweeps,” Fajar said when contacted in Jakarta on Tuesday.

The search, he said, was carried out by the Social Services Monitoring and Control Task Force (Satgas P3S) stationed at Cengkareng and Kalideres checkpoints.

The joint team conducted sweeps around the Cengkareng area with the aim of bringing her to a social welfare facility.

“The team asked around and sought information from traders and motorcycle taxi drivers, but they had not seen her and no one recognised the woman,” Fajar said.

According to Fajar, the main obstacle is the woman’s habit of constantly moving between locations.

“The information we have is that this individual moves around when carrying out her actions, so we have not yet located her. Given the current attention on this matter, we will strengthen our presence at our monitoring points,” Fajar said.

However, after receiving information that the woman’s antics had gone viral again in the Srengseng area of Kembangan, Fajar immediately deployed a team to follow up on residents’ concerns.

The Satgas P3S team has also been coordinating with online motorcycle taxi drivers in the field.

“Officers have urged online motorcycle taxi drivers that if they pick up this woman as a passenger, they should immediately take her to the nearest Social Services post for further handling,” Fajar said.
