Jakarta, Aktual.com — PT BSA Logistics Indonesia Tbk (WBSA) has officially listed its initial shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) as the first issuer in 2026, on Friday (10/4/2026), with an oversubscription reaching 386.86 times. In the initial public offering (IPO), the company offered 1.8 billion new shares at Rp168 per share, raising funds amounting to Rp302.4 billion.

The President Director of PT BSA Logistics Indonesia Tbk, Edwin Wibowo, admitted that the high investor interest exceeded the company’s expectations. “Honestly, I myself did not expect such a positive market enthusiasm for our share offering with an oversubscription of nearly 400 times,” he told the media.

The funds from the Initial Public Offering (IPO) will be used to support the company’s business expansion, particularly through plans to acquire companies in the sea transportation sector. A portion will also be allocated for capital expenditures to increase operational capacity and logistics service efficiency.

Edwin stated that these steps are being taken to strengthen the company’s business model as an integrated logistics provider. BSA Logistics aims to enhance connectivity between land transportation, warehousing, and sea transportation within a single distribution chain.

The company assesses that opportunities in the national logistics industry remain wide open, in line with Indonesia’s character as an archipelagic nation and high domestic distribution activities. The need for integrated multimodal logistics services is also seen to be continuously increasing with the large movement of goods between regions.

In his explanation, Edwin also noted that logistics is no longer viewed merely as a cost, but as an essential part of the supply chain and economic movement. “From the beginning, we built WBSA not just as a logistics network, but as connectivity,” he said.

According to him, Indonesia has the opportunity to play a larger role in the global supply chain, supported by natural resources, commodities, and a vast domestic market. However, this opportunity is highly determined by the ability to strengthen inter-regional and inter-island logistics connectivity.

Currently, the company relies on its own fleet as well as support from local vendors in several operational areas, such as Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi. BSA Logistics has around 1,000 own vehicles, while plans to add capacity will follow future business development needs.

Amid global sentiment pressures, Edwin stated that the company still views the logistics business prospects positively. He added that changes in external conditions can become opportunities as long as the company is able to improve efficiency, including by reducing waiting times between ships, trucks, and warehouses in the distribution chain.
