Water supply in West Jakarta

JAKARTA (JP): Water supplied by the city-owned water company
PAM Jaya to Jl. Pluit Timur, Jl. Mawardi and Jl. Jembatan II in
West Jakarta will be temporarily suspended from Friday until
Sunday.

H. Bambang Suranto, the company's business director, said the
stoppage was necessary for the renovation of the main pipes on
Jl. Makaliwe and Jl. Latumeten.

The water supply is expected to return to normal on Sunday
afternoon, he said. (hhr)
