Want to Buy a Subsidised House via Tapera Mobile? Here's How
The introduction of Tapera Mobile eases the process for Low-Income Communities (MBR) to apply for subsidised housing purchases. Submitting a mortgage application via Tapera Mobile begins with downloading the app from the Google Play Store or App Store. Prospective debtors then enter their Population Registration Number (NIK) and agree to the applicable terms and conditions to create an account. The next step involves facial verification by following the movement instructions provided by the app. After that, users enter their mobile phone number, create a password, and complete verification via an OTP code sent by SMS. Once registration is successful, prospective debtors can search for homes using the available search feature. After selecting a home, users can proceed with the Home Ownership Credit (KPR) application, check subsidies, select the distributing bank, and schedule a meeting. The subsequent application process can be monitored through the status tracking feature, which includes five stages: financing application, follow-up, SP3K, habitability assessment, and agreement. “After meeting with the bank’s sales team, prospective debtors can independently monitor the KPR application process. If still confused about the flow, they can access information related to Tapera Mobile on the website tapera.go.id,” said Commissioner of the People’s Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) Heru Pudyo Nugroho, quoted on Monday (20/04/2026). Currently, prospective subsidised home buyers do not need to switch apps when making applications. This follows the migration of the Subsidised Housing Mortgage Information System (SiKasep) and Developer Cluster Information System (Sikumbang) services to Tapera Mobile. The migration of these services officially took effect from 13 April 2026. According to Heru, MBR with certain incomes according to zones can obtain their first home through FLPP KPR or Tapera Fund financing, in accordance with applicable regulations. BP Tapera, as the Government Investment Operator (OIP), has been disbursing FLPP funds since 2022. As of 13 April 2026, a total of 50,021 housing units have been disbursed with a value of Rp6.22 trillion across 33 provinces and 364 regencies/cities. “Currently, only 14.29 percent has been absorbed from the target of 350,000 units,” said Heru.
