Incarcerated persons (WBP) complete the production of nastar cookies at the Vocational Training Hall (BLK) of the Women’s Penitentiary (LPP) Class II B Jambi, Muaro Jambi, Jambi, on Monday, 2 March 2026.

Nine incarcerated individuals at the penitentiary, having previously received culinary training from the government, have commenced production of traditional Eid cakes at a price of Rp85,000 per 500-gram container to meet buyer demand. The facility reports an average demand of approximately 120 containers during the Ramadhan period.

This initiative represents a practical application of vocational training within the correctional system, enabling incarcerated persons to develop marketable skills whilst contributing to economic activity during the festive season.
