Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - As of April 2026, the installed capacity of rooftop solar power plants (PLTS) in Indonesia has reached 1.3 gigawatts (GW), an almost tenfold increase compared to the 2024 record of 146 megawatts. Founder of Enertech Mitra Solusi and Chairperson of the Indonesian Solar Energy Association (AESI), Mada Ayu Habsari, described the increase in rooftop PLTS capacity as a positive achievement in supporting Indonesia’s accelerated energy transition towards net zero emissions in 2060.
