PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) achieved positive performance throughout 2025, recording a 6.29% year-on-year revenue increase to USD 432.73 million, equivalent to approximately Rp 7.35 trillion, with net profit at around Rp 2.3 trillion. PGEO’s Finance Director, Yurizki Rio, stated that 2025 was an interesting year with production growing 5.6% to 5,095 gigawatt-hours (GWh). This achievement was supported by the latest assets starting operations, namely the 55 MW Lumut Balai Unit 2 geothermal power plant, additional supply from the Ulubelu and Karaha geothermal power plants, and efficiencies from minimising routine maintenance. In 2026, PGEO targets a more cautious capital expenditure allocation to face global uncertainty volatility, with a budget of USD 209 million, of which USD 158 million is allocated for strategic project development and approximately USD 51 million for maintaining operational reliability. Meanwhile, funding is strengthened through efforts to secure low-cost financing via government-to-government cooperation for four geothermal projects through the Ministry of Finance and Bappenas. What are PGEO’s targets and financial performance?
