Variety of Passenger Complaints After 3 Hours "Stuck" Due to KRL Green Line Disruption Tanah Abang-Rangkasbitung
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Numerous Commuter Line passengers on the Tanah Abang - Rangkasbitung route, also known as the KRL Green Line, complained about waiting for their disrupted journey for approximately three hours on Monday afternoon (4/5/2026).
At that time, the train from the Tanah Abang direction stopped at Kebayoran station around 4:30 PM WIB and could not continue its journey to Rangkasbitung. Meanwhile, the train from the Rangkasbitung direction only reached Serpong Station.
The public expressed their annoyance via social media platform X.
“What a Monday Monday! I hope all Green Line residents stay healthy, sane, and strong!!! Arrived at Tanah Abang Station at 5:08 PM WIB and only reached BSD at 10:35 PM,” said one Green Line user @bpa**.
A similar sentiment was shared by a user with the account @fo***. According to them, the Green Line is not for beginners. They also wished health to KRL users.
“The Green Line is really not for beginners, imagining going back and forth that far every day. And there are always problems like this, stay healthy everyone,” they said.
The situation was worsened by the rainy weather at the time. Nevertheless, some residents decided to switch to other transportation, while others waited until the KRL service returned to normal.
However, the problems did not end there; ordering online vehicles also proved quite difficult when the weather was uncooperative.
“As a Green Line user myself, I feel fed up. There are always problems with the KRL lately. Meanwhile, other transportation options that could be alternatives are very expensive to get to Jakarta. So, like it or not, the option still falls on the KRL with all its obstacles,” said I, a journalist who relies on public transportation for commuting to and from assignments.
