US Offers 30-Day Ceasefire and 15-Point Peace Conditions to Iran
US President Donald Trump has offered a 15-point ceasefire plan to Iran to end the war. The ceasefire offer was conveyed by Pakistan as an intermediary between Washington and Tehran.
Cited from detikNews, as reported by Reuters and Associated Press on Wednesday (25/3/2026), the ceasefire proposal was detailed by the New York Times (NYT), quoting two US officials familiar with the outline of Washington’s proposal.
NYT explained that the US’s 15-point ceasefire offer had been delivered to Iranian officials through Pakistan. Islamabad has offered to host negotiations between Washington and Tehran.
However, no detailed explanation has been provided regarding the 15 peace conditions in the ceasefire plan.
An Israeli television report from Channel 12 stated that the US is seeking a one-month ceasefire to discuss the 15-point plan.
According to the Israeli media report, the ceasefire plan includes dismantling Iran’s nuclear programme, halting support for proxy groups, and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
To date, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not responded to the US ceasefire offer to Iran. Associated Press noted that several Israeli officials, who had urged Trump to continue the war against Iran, were surprised by the US step to offer a ceasefire to Iran.
The White House has also not responded to the media reports.
