JAKARTA – PT United Tractors Tbk’s operational performance throughout 2025 culminated in a net profit of IDR 14.8 trillion, a result shaped by operational challenges, commodity price movements, and business strategies across its various operating segments.

Based on management reports released to the media on 27 February 2026, the company recorded net revenue of IDR 131.3 trillion through the fourth quarter of 2025, down 2 per cent compared to IDR 134.4 trillion for the same period in 2024.

“The company’s net profit declined 24 per cent to IDR 14.8 trillion, caused by reduced contributions from the Mining Contractor segment hampered by high rainfall and the Thermal Coal and Metallurgy Mining segment due to lower coal selling prices, which was partially offset by strengthened gold prices,” the management stated in its report.

Revenue was primarily supported by four main segments: IDR 54.1 trillion from Mining Contracting, IDR 36.6 trillion from Construction Machinery, IDR 24.2 trillion from Thermal Coal and Metallurgy Mining, and IDR 14.0 trillion from Gold and Other Mineral Mining.

The Construction Machinery segment recorded Komatsu heavy equipment sales rising 2 per cent to 4,515 units, driven by increased demand from the forestry and plantation sectors.

Komatsu’s market share based on internal research stood at 20 per cent, maintaining its position as the market leader in heavy equipment for the mining sector.

Scania sales increased from 436 units to 466 units, whilst UD Trucks declined from 234 units to 155 units.

On the other hand, revenue from spare parts and heavy equipment maintenance services fell 3 per cent to IDR 11.3 trillion, bringing total Construction Machinery segment revenue down 2 per cent to IDR 36.6 trillion.
