The Acting Secretary General of the MPR RI, Siti Fauziah (Titi), stated that creative literacy, which combines the practice of making aromatherapy with national values, serves as an engaging way to introduce and provide an understanding of the Four Pillars. The activity is considered capable of fostering togetherness within the working environment.

According to her, the process of blending aromatherapy contains values relevant to national life. Various ingredients with different aromatic characters can be combined to produce a single harmonious scent. This serves as an illustration of Indonesia’s diversity, united under the spirit of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity).

“I strongly support this creative literacy. Because it is linked to the Four Pillars, where the ingredients can consist of four different types. This reflects that different materials can be combined to produce an excellent result,” Titi said in her statement on Monday (14/09/2026).

She expressed this during a creative literacy event titled ‘National Pillars, Aroma of Peace: Blending the Harmony of the Four Pillars in a Bottle of Aromatherapy’, organised by the MPR RI Library at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta.

Titi added that the activity provides more than just a creative experience for employees. The event also serves as a lesson that harmony amidst difference can produce something positive.

“If there were no harmony between the scents, the result might not be good or pleasant. This is one of the reflections of those Four Pillars,” she remarked.

Furthermore, Titi emphasised that creative activities highlighting the values of the Four Pillars will continue to be developed within the MPR environment. She believes such activities are important so that national values are not only understood theoretically but can also be felt through direct experience.

In addition to serving as a medium for creative literacy, the aromatherapy blending activity also holds potential for development as a business opportunity. Therefore, Titi hopes that participants will not only gain new experiences but can also share the knowledge and skills obtained with their colleagues.

Titi also emphasised that diversity is a vital part of the Indonesian national identity. Differences in ethnicity, religion, or background must become a strength to build unity and maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of An Indonesia (NKRI).

“We are different in terms of ethnicity, religion, and background, but we must become one to improve the MPR and maintain the integrity of the NKRI,” she concluded.

Through this creative literacy programme, it is hoped that the values of the Four Pillars will become closer to the daily lives of employees. Creativity, togetherness, and diversity can become part of the effort to build a harmonious working environment while strengthening the spirit of national unity and cohesion.
