Uncle Recalls Orphaned Woman Murdered and Thrown from Bogor Toll Road
I want to reiterate that the deceased was an orphan; both her father and mother have passed away. I happened to raise her from a young age, from before school until she grew up. I was her substitute parent,” said the victim’s uncle, Syamsudin (52), at Jalan Sholis on Sunday, 24 May 2026.
Syamsudin stated he cared for AA since her parents’ deaths. He described her as independent, completing her bachelor’s degree through her own efforts while working.
“The deceased was hardworking. I educated her from childhood until high school, after which she worked while studying. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree while employed. To this day, she is known among colleagues for her generosity, especially towards her family,” he said.
Previously, police have named a suspect in the murder case of the woman found on Jalan Sholis in Bogor City, West Java (Jabar). The victim’s family hopes the perpetrator receives the harshest punishment.
“My hope and wish is for the perpetrator to be punished in line with his actions. Taking someone’s life means he must lose his own; that is my desire. A life must be repaid with a life. If possible, the death penalty, or at the very least life imprisonment,” said the victim’s uncle, Syamsudin (52).
Syamsudin praised the police’s swift action in apprehending the suspect within 24 hours and expressed hope for a thorough investigation.
