Ultra Milk only uses the finest fresh milk with the lowest
Ultra Milk only uses the finest fresh milk with the lowest bacteria arriving daily at the Ultra Milk plant in less than two hours from associations of dairies all over Bandung.
Prior to the production process, the following are the tests used to ensure milk quality: Taste and aroma check; cleanliness check; sediment test; hygienic test; number of somatic bacteria; total bacteria; protein content; fat content; freezing point
Ultra Milk production starts with pre-sterilization of the fresh milk to avoid contamination. The entire production and packaging are within a sterile environment and aseptic process, including the Ultra High Temperature (UHT) to assure elimination of bacteria.
Using the UHT process, the milk is heated to 140 C for four seconds and then immediately cooled down to lower than 4 C.
Then, the bacteria-free milk is packaged automatically in 6- fold sterile aseptic paper, aluminum and plastic that will prevent any kind of bacteria from entering and damaging the product.
This last stage of packaging is very sterile and does not require refrigeration or preservation. It means that the aseptic technology has served as the most significant food packing technology in the last 50 years according to the Chicago Food and Nutrition Technology based in the U.S.A.
To maximize product quality, the air in the whole production area is cleaned with an air purifier to reach below 10 CFU per minute.
After production, the Ultra Milk is kept in incubation for 8 days to ensure that there is no bacteria contamination once the products are released into market. On top of that, all sample products are kept until the expiry date in case monitoring is required of products sold nationwide.
Ultra Milk is one of the most modern plants in Asia with the latest packaging and asceptic technology. The entire plant is operated automatically, which means that once milk is processed, it will not be touched by anyone, except the end consumer.
The computerized as well as robotic inventory system can identify products according to date of production to ascertain freshness and quality of Ultra Milk products.
