Two Farmers from Bima Arrested by Police Over Methamphetamine Transaction
Two farmers were arrested by police in connection with a drug trafficking case in Langgudu subdistrict, Bima regency, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). Police confiscated 0.61 grammes of methamphetamine and several other items of evidence from the two farmers.
“The two arrested farmers are BH (32) and SU (47),” said Langgudu Police Commander Ipda Suhaely on Friday (27/2/2026).
Suhaely revealed that the case discovery began with information from residents regarding suspicious transactions in the area. According to Suhaely, BH was arrested at his garden in Waworada village, Langgudu subdistrict, on Thursday (26/2/2026).
“The arrest followed information from residents that BH’s garden had been used as a methamphetamine transaction location,” he added.
Police also secured evidence comprising four plastic clip packets containing methamphetamine. The illicit substance stored in a powder box weighed 0.61 grammes.
“Other evidence includes one empty plastic clip packet, three plastic pipettes, cash of Rp 500,000, and two mobile phones,” said Suhaely.
During police interrogation, BH admitted that the methamphetamine belonged to SU, a farmer from Rompo village, Langgudu subdistrict. Following this information, officers immediately conducted an investigation and apprehended SU at his residence.
“From SU’s arrest,” continued Suhaely, “no methamphetamine evidence was found. However, from SU, police seized one mobile phone which contained conversations between SU and BH regarding the methamphetamine transaction,” said Suhaely.
“At this time, SU and BH remain under interrogation for further legal proceedings,” he concluded.
