Two Americans missing in resort

MANILA (AFP): Two American tourists and their Filipina friend have been reported missing after they set off by boat from the resort island of Boracay in the central Philippines, police said yesterday.

A radio report to the Philippine National Police headquarters here named those missing as Robert House and Tom Henning, whose hometowns were not available, and resort hotel owner Delnora Nono.

The three left Boracay, 300 kilometers south of Manila, for neighboring Romblon island on Tuesday and failed to return as scheduled, the report said.

Two police teams aboard motorboats followed the route taken by the three but were unable to find them, prompting the officers to seek the help of the Coast Guard, it added.
