'TVRI' news

From Neraca

Despite its mature age of 34 and the advances made in broadcasting, TVRI had confused me during the 9 o'clock news broadcast on Aug. 27.

The announcer said during the presentation of the first news item that Prime Minister Ikeda from Japan was visiting Israel. Almost in the same breath, she informed viewers that Prime Minister Hashimoto from Japan was visiting the Latin American countries.

Listening to these news items and looking at two different faces who are supposed to hold one and the same post, I got confused. Are there two prime ministers functioning in Japan, or, did my ears fail me?

Since this news program is broadcast widely by satellite, I appreciate an explanation from TVRI.
