On that occasion, the victims’ families also expressed hope that the cause of the incident could be quickly determined. Hary Marwata, father of the late Nur Ainia Eka Rahmadhyna, stated that his daughter was a daily KRL user in her routine activities. “Every day, my child used the KRL from Tambun to Palmerah for work. We hope the investigation process runs smoothly and the cause of this incident can be quickly known,” said Hary. Based on preliminary data, the number of fatalities is recorded at 16 people, while 45 people are still under treatment and another 45 have been allowed to go home. Inspections were carried out before operations resumed, so all stages proceed safely and under control. Starting at 14:00 WIB, East Bekasi Station resumed serving passengers, and KRL services on the Bekasi–Cikarang route operated normally in stages. Operational recovery was carried out with caution. “All stages have undergone thorough inspections to ensure train travel safety,” explained KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication Anne Purba.
