Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has officially forged a strategic collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) to strengthen the labour ecosystem in the public transportation sector. “This collaboration between Transjakarta and Kemnaker is expected to enhance the quality of human resources in the transportation sector, while also opening wider access for the public to employment opportunities,” said Transjakarta’s Director of Finance, Human Resources, and General Affairs, Mayangsari Dian Irwantari, in Jakarta on Thursday. The Transjakarta-Kemnaker collaboration is marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at aligning human resource development programmes with the increasingly dynamic needs of the transportation industry. This partnership focuses on optimising resource utilisation, enhancing workforce competencies, and expanding access to job market information for the wider public. The scope of the collaboration includes programmes for training and developing human resource competencies to achieve high competitiveness, utilisation of the Karirhub platform for equitable and accessible dissemination of job vacancy information. Additionally, it involves optimising job market services through facilitating various activities such as seminars, workshops, and walk-in interviews to accelerate workforce absorption, as well as using public communication media to educate and disseminate labour information to Transjakarta customers. Mayangsari stated that this Memorandum of Understanding will be valid for three years and is expected to provide sustainable impacts on strengthening the national transportation ecosystem. She added that the primary focus of the follow-up to this collaboration is to create more efficient and targeted job market services. “In the future, we hope this partnership not only strengthens the organisation internally but also drives the creation of competent, adaptive transportation sector workers ready to face global challenges,” Mayangsari concluded.
