The management of PT Jasa Marga should pay attention to the discipline of their personnel dealing with services, accidents and sanctions against traffic violations on toll roads in and outside of Jakarta.
Employees responsible for collecting the toll fees at the "pay-in-exact-money" gate must not hesitate to reject people who need change. On the other hand, employees should give a smile to drivers who do pay the exact money.
Another crucial issue is the need for street lighting for night traffic.
It is also high time PT Jasa Marga determined standardized first aid treatment and informed the community of the scheme. The company should also make at least one ambulance car available at every branch office.
The patrol agent should not allow any vehicle to use the side of the roads, and an obstructing device must be set up at an interval of about 200 meters to discourage drivers from using the edge of the roads. All these measures are meant to discipline both road users and PT Jasa Marga's personnel.
